We meet for a run on Monday evenings and Saturday mornings. Experienced club members take charge of running groups ranging from the complete beginner to well established, competent runners – its much more fun to run in a group. Our runs take place all over the valley between Dunsford and Christow, sometimes to Chudleigh, the reservoirs at Hennock, and Haldon forest park. Runs are both on and off road at varying times. We like to visit the occasional pub, have breakfast runs, coffee and cake events, and sometimes add in a bike/run – there’s lots of variety. See the diary for details of when and where.
Advice available ranges from coaching help, prevention of injuries, strength work, race running, what to eat or not to eat before a run and lots more. As Club members, you would also get a 10% discount off kit and shoes at Ironbridge Runner, Exeter. You also have public liability insurance as we are affiliated to the Association of Running Clubs.
